Community Nurses
Our community nursing sisters visit patients who are confined to their homes and need nursing assistance. This is usually arranged by the doctor. Community nurses arrange the provision of aids to the elderly and handicapped and also co-ordinate home care of the dying.
Health Visitors
A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.
The health visitor can be contacted by telephoning 01622 225805.
