How to Get Your Test Results
Once your test results have been reviewed by a clinician, there are several ways you can access them. The information below explains how normal and abnormal results are managed, and how you can obtain your results when needed.
Normal Results
- If your test results are normal, you will not be contacted. Normal results do not require any action from you.
- You can view normal results in your NHS account once they have been reviewed.
Abnormal Results
- If any result requires follow‑up, further tests, or treatment, the surgery will contact you directly.
- Depending on clinical advice, this may be via the NHS App, a text message, or a telephone call.
Viewing Your Results Online
The quickest and most convenient way to view your results is through the NHS App or your NHS account online.

Contacting the Surgery for Results
If you prefer not to use online services, you may contact the surgery by phone.
- Blood test results can be requested after 2pm only by calling 01622 814380.
- Administrative staff can provide results, or you may be asked to speak to a nurse or doctor if needed.
Confidentiality
- Results will only be given to the patient themselves.
- For children, results may be shared with a parent or guardian.
- In exceptional circumstances, results may be provided to someone else, but only with appropriate consent or clinical justification.
