SurgeryPod

SurgeryPod is designed to give patients more quality face-to-face time with their GP. This equipment is designed to give patients greater control and flexibility over their health as well as allowing the medical staff to utilise their expertise more efficiently.

What is a SurgeryPod?

SurgeryPod is a secure computer system which has the capability to accurately record patient data and take readings, such as weight and blood pressure measurements. It’s not a replacement for a doctor or nurse but an addition to the practice.

SurgeryPod offers greater freedom and opportunity to monitor patient health without having to wait on an appointment. Just pop into reception and they will show you what to do.

Primarily, this will be used as an extension to the consultation with the GP or Nurse. It will accurately record key data and send it directly into the clinical system and to the health practitioner.

How does it work?

As the patient, you will interact with the SurgeryPod touchscreen computer, which will guide you through the process.

After name and date of birth are entered, simply follow the step-by-step instructions that follow.

Using SurgeryPod is very simple. After the session is complete, results are automatically saved and sent to your patient records.

Who can use it?

The SurgeryPod is suitable for all adult patients.

Due to its simple user interface, regardless of your technical knowledge, you will easily be able to use SurgeryPod.
